Oversight ministry - 'what we learnt' and what the Diocese of Truro has long planned

An interesting article here on 'oversight ministry' dating from a 2017 conference - showing that the Diocese of Truro has been considering this radical step for some time. Instead of priests in parishes, the traditional notion of of vicars as shepherds guiding their flock, the suggestion is that the clergy might become 'farm managers'.
